About Me
I’m originally a Midwestern girl from Indiana, but after meeting my husband Mark at a Neurology conference in 2010, I traded in the cornfields for the sunny shores of Florida. At the time, I was working clinically in Neurodiagnostics, and my husband’s family owned a Neurodiagnostic business here in Florida. So, like every great Hallmark love story, I packed my bags and moved to Florida to work for the family business. It was tough wearing so many hats in a small business, but it introduced me to the world of design. I used my creative flair to work on a company-wide rebrand, facility reorganization, manufacturing process updates, and employee training plan. The results were amazing. We attracted and won new contracts, adding millions in revenue while our productivity and employee retention skyrocketed. This was when I first realized how important design is on all levels – digital and physical. Throughout that time, we doubled National and International Sales, increased our team from 8 to over 60 employees, and had the opportunity to sell the company at the height of its success!
I tried to temporarily retire, but as my mom would say, that Midwestern work ethic took over – and Covid happened. During those crazy pandemic years, I unexpectedly got into the beauty industry social selling Color Street Nail Strips. Within 18 months, I was in the top 1% of Stylists Nationwide. I hit Executive Director with my team of 323 Stylists, and together we achieved 1.5 million dollars in sales. During that time, I credited so much of my growth to branding. Whether it was designing the layout of vendor booths, creating eye catching graphics, or coming up with fun social media engagement ideas, I was in my element.
Throughout the last decade, I also developed a personal interest and love of interior design. Since moving to St. Petersburg, I’ve been able to explore that love on a professional level with local Realtors to prepare their client’s homes for sale through soft staging and organization, and on a personal level by renovating our 97-year-old home – both of which I have absolutely loved.
I understand the struggles that come from running your own business or taking on larger than life projects. I’ve been there. That's why I believe in the power of personalized, problem-solving design to help you go from feeling stressed and overworked to proud and excited about growing your business. Together, let's collaborate and create designs that will help you achieve your goals and take your business to the next level.
